SInce the year 2000 most of my paintings have centered around classical music. Initially there were iconographic studies. Then a series of primarily red abstracts as a homage to Beethoven. More recently the attempt has been to employ the same music iconography in observation of personal and social events. For example, the series - Siege Symphony uses a palette of warm hues and frenetic style to allude to the war in Iraq
